I am a visual artist speciliasing in tonal realist oil painting techniques living in Adelaide, on Kaurna Country. I have been exhibiting my artwork since 2005 and gained an Associate Degree from Adelaide Central School of Art in 2007.
 
I have explored a number of themes in my paintings including portraiture, landscapes, dogs and most recently botanicals.  Flowers in their natural environment have emerged as my favourite subject matter.  I'm drawn to bright colours and love the challenge of translating photographic elements, both the macro details and the blurred backgrounds, to oil on canvas.
 
Photographic effects are an ongoing influence for me.  These include background blur, Kodachrome palettes, enhanced saturation and high contrast.  My work has been recognised  through commission prizes, grants and awards, and hangs in collections around Australia and internationally.

Limited edition fine art prints, wearable art such as silk and cotton scarves, and greeting cards are all available for purchase through my website shop.
